Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and well‑organized Research Technician with expertise in analytical chemistry to join our dynamic and collaborative team. Our mission is to better understand the molecular mechanisms of genetic glycosylation disorders and translate our findings into improved therapies and diagnostic biomarkers. Using patient‑derived materials, we apply cutting‑edge metabolomics and (glyco)proteomics to dissect disease mechanisms in rare genetic metabolic disorders. Our ultimate goal is to translate fundamental insights into better diagnostics and new therapies for patients.

As a key member of our team, your daily activities will include the development and application of targeted LC–mass spectrometry analyses of sugar metabolites. You will be responsible for designing, planning, and executing your own experiments, as well as analyzing and reporting your results. You will also support the general operation and infrastructure of the research group by maintaining an overview of laboratory resources and training new personnel. We are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic work environment.
