About Introductory Course on Glycoscience

This introductory course on glycoscience is interesting for PhD students and Postdocs who either:

• Have encountered glycans in their research
• Want to know more about glycobiology
• Want to know more about state of the art techniques at the RU and/or is thin-king of applying them in their research.

Techniques include:

• Cell biology tools to study several glycosylation processes
• Chemical probes for labeling, inhibition and boosting of cellular processes - Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR)
• Mass spectrometry
