The Blue Diamond Gallery In order to indentify quickly if and wherefore a patient has given consent a number of generic building blocks regarding informed consent have been incorporated in Epic.

In this manner we can prevent asking a patient repeatedly if they wish to participate in a sub-biobank.
 
The information regarding informed consent is also visible in mijnRadboud for the patient and in the future a link will be added to the sub-biobank’s Castor database.
 
Instructions for the recording of informed consent information in Epic is available in Dutch via Q-portaal research functionaliteiten, chapter 6.1.
