The Health-RI Biobanks & Collections workgroup proudly announces the first National Biobanks & Collections Day. The meeting will take place on November 9 in Amsterdam. The symposium activities will mainly take place in Dutch. However, presentation slides will be prepared in English and will be made available after the event to ensure that the content is widely accessible.

Health-RI organizes the national Biobanks & Collections Day to stimulate knowledge sharing, network interaction and collaboration at a national level. This event is aimed at the entire national Biobanks & Collections community, including researchers, analysts, data managers, IT specialists, patients and patient representatives involved in biobanks, cohorts and health registries. During this event  knowledge will be shared about guidelines, (meta)data standards, (cohort) studies, biobank procedures and protocols, ELSI standards and procedures, and infrastructural tools and services from the (inter)national field with added value for the biobanks and collections community.
