We have good news for both new and existing collections and projects interested in isolating PBMCs (Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells)! We are pleased to announce that the Laboratory of Medical Immunology (LMI) has resumed PBMC isolation services as of February 1, 2025.
Last year, we unfortunately had to suspend this service due to insufficient staffing to facilitate these often challenging-to-schedule isolations. However, thanks to an internal reallocation of qualified personnel from the Urology department to LMI, we can now offer this valuable service once again.
All PBMC isolations will be performed using the AutoMACS cell separtor, ensuring standardization and, most importantly, high-quality samples. This is crucial for the success of scientific research and guarantees that the isolates meet the highest standards.
If you have any questions or are interested in this isolation service, please feel free to contact the Radboud Biobank. We are here to assist you and collaborate on high-quality biomedical research!
