Xavier spoke about the 'obesity paradox in acute pancreatitis', Simon on the effect of prednisone treatment in autoimmune hepatitis and Liyanne held a presentation about 'protein processing' in polycystic liver disease.
In addition, Isabelle Munsterman, Liyanne van de Laarschot, and Yannick Wouters each won a "poster champ" prize.

Several Gastroenterology researchers were very successful during the 25th Scientific Annual Meeting of United European Gastroenterology (UEGW2017) in Barcelona.
