This prize was awarded for the best presentations during the UEG week.The selection was made based on the quality of the research, originality, but also the presentation. Xavier spoke about the 'obesity paradox in acute pancreatitis', Simon on the effect of prednisone treatment in autoimmune hepatitis and Liyanne held a presentation about 'protein processing' in polycystic liver disease.
In addition, Isabelle Munsterman, Liyanne van de Laarschot, and Yannick Wouters each won a "poster champ" prize.

Several Gastroenterology researchers were very successful during the 25th Scientific Annual Meeting of United European Gastroenterology (UEGW2017) in Barcelona.
